 Gold Nugget and Gold Quartz Jewelry

Hello to all that have found my website. My name is Steve Wandt and I have been a gold prospector for the last 25 years. I have always wanted to be able to make high quality jewelry from my years of mining natural gold nuggets. Recently I attended the California Institute of Jewelry Training’s Jewelry Arts program. A dream has come true, I can now create the jewelry I have wanted so much to do. I have also started my own company, Natural Gold Jewelry.

Most of my jewelry pieces are one of a kind creations and not mass-produced. The gold in my pieces is alloyed by me and comes from US Gold Eagle bullion coins and or refined placer gold. The gold nuggets are all mined by me and come from my Placer claims on Nelson Creek and Rock Creek. The quartz/gold I use comes from the world famous Original 16 to 1 mine in Allegany, California.

I work out of my own home studio. Alloying of gold and casting is done right in the studio. Since I am the miner and the jeweler this allows me to sell my creations at near wholesale prices.
